The B-25 Mitchell, a twin-engine medium bomber developed just before WWII, was synonymous with the Doolittle Raid, the attack on Tokyo by USAAF Mitchells. It featured a 'gull' wing. Early versions had glazed noses, but as the type matured, more guns were added to the nose of the aircraft.
